About Burnt Out
"Margarett, just don't burn out." Many people in my life are constantly cautioning me about burning out. They mention this when I call them stressed about things and when I call them enthusiastic about the opportunities and projects I have going on. I created this blog to document my life development and thoughts. It is a way of writing down my worries, inquiries, and passions. I titled it burn out because no matter what I say or what I experience, burning out is what significant people in my life always think about when I express anything. This blog is to help me process times when I feel burnt out, when I feel eager about life, and when I have questions. I may be processing my experiences through a lens of my identities, such as being a first generation college student, being Black, being a woman, being a Black woman, being in relationships, being overweight, growing up low income, and many other perspectives that I have. I invite you to read and talk with me as I manage these things and practice developing my writing.
